One of the main functions of our Victim-Witness Assistance Program is to ensure the District Attorney’s adherence to the Georgia Crime Victims’ Bill of Rights. Enacted in 1995, the legislation mandates State Prosecution Offices provide notification and other services to crime victims. Crime victims’ rights have always been at the forefront of our fight for justice and we will always go above and beyond to ensure that Douglas County crime victims’ rights are met.
