Business License / Occupational Tax
The Occupational Tax Department is responsible for issuing Occupational Tax Registrations for In-home and Commercial locations, better known as a business license, for the unincorporated jurisdiction of Douglas County.

All properties located in unincorporated Douglas County are required to be in compliance with the codes contained in the Douglas County Unified Development Code, the Douglas County Code of Ordinances, and the International Property Maintenance Code.
