CONNECT DOUGLAS IS OFFERING FREE EVENT SHUTTLES FOR MAY 20 TASTE OF DOUGLASVILLE 

Park for Free at the Douglas County Multi-Modal Transportation Center

The Connect Douglas Fixed Route Bus Service travels to many of Douglas County’s most popular events and attractions. Area residents and visitors using Connect Douglas transit can park for FREE at the Multi-Modal Transportation Center (MMTC) located at 8800 Dorris Rd. Douglasville, GA 30134.

For the third year, Connect Douglas will offer a FREE event shuttle to the annual Taste of Douglasville presented by the Cultural Arts Council Douglasville/Douglas County on May 20. A designated Connect Douglas event shuttle will have direct service to the one-day event with the pick-up location at Connect Douglas MMTC at 8800 Dorris Rd. 

The event shuttle will pick-up from the Connect Douglas MMTC and run every 20 minutes from 11:00AM – 5:00PM. The last shuttle pick-up will be at 5:20PM from the Taste of Douglasville event shuttle location. 

There will be two (2) Taste of Douglasville drop-off locations marked by event shuttle drop-off signage: 1) Corner of Bowden St. & Church St. 2) Corner of Campbellton St. & Church St. 

About Connect Douglas Fixed Route Bus

Connect Douglas operates public bus services within Douglas County in four fixed routes. Each of the operating buses are fully equipped with FREE Wi-Fi and security cameras for riders. 

• Route 10 & Route 20: Serves downtown Douglasville and the Highway 5/Stewart Parkway/Douglas Boulevard/Hospital Drive area. 
• Route 30: Serves Thornton Road south of I-20 and Riverside Drive west to American Red Cross and Tributary. 
• Route 40: Serves downtown Lithia Springs and connects the Douglasville Routes 10 & 20 to the Thornton Road/Riverside Route 30. Route 40 also connects with CobbLinc to provide access to the Atlanta H.E. Holmes MARTA station.
• Flex Route: The bus can deviate from the designated route to pick up a rider within one mile of the Fixed Route area. Pick up must be scheduled and times are limited.
• ADA Paratransit: ADA Paratransit bus service is available to persons with disabilities that operates within a one-mile radius of Fixed Route service. A simple certification must be completed and an ADA Paratransit trip scheduled.

Fixed Route Bus Fares

• $2.50 – Standard one-way pass
• $1.00 – Students, senior adults, individuals with disabilities
• $25.00 – 10-day trip pass
• $75.00 – 31-day pass
• Additional discounts available on multi-trip passes for students, senior adults 60yrs⁺, individuals with disabilities.
