[ARCHIVED] National Voter Registration Day Gets Recognized With Proclamation

This week, the Douglas County Board of Commissioners issued a proclamation in recognition of National Voter Registration Day coming up on September 19th .   
National Voter Registration Day is a non-partisan, nationwide effort to ensure that every eligible citizen has the opportunity to register to vote. 


The Douglas County Board of Elections and Registration will expand its National Voter Registration Day commemoration into a weeklong initiative spanning from September 18th through September 22nd. Representatives will be available at the front of the Courthouse Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10AM - 2PM. Tuesday September 19th from 9 AM to 4 PM, to offer voter registration assistance.
