dctv23 is a program of the Douglas County Department of Communications and Community Relations, which has only two employees. One of these employees is the dctv23 technical director and is in responsible charge of the daily operation of the station. Unfortunately, there are no immediate plans to add employees.

We are a government access television station. That means that we do not air videos produced by the public. Almost all of the work seen on dctv23 is produced in-house. You can contact Comcast Cable for information about public access television that is aired on channel 25.
Our programming varies according to the needs of the county as well as what is going on in the county. We televise all Board of Commissioners meetings live and re-broadcast them at 6 am and 6 pm daily. We tape and play back many events such as special ceremonies honoring heroes (Pathway of Service and Walk of Honor), the GreyStone Power Luncheon Series, and the Special Populations talent show.
In the Fall of 2003, we will debut several original series produced by dctv23. They are scheduled to start in September and will include a show called "Douglas County Living", a spotlight of local people, places, and events that make Douglas County Special.
